Get Rid of Neck Pain with These Simple Yoga Poses

Balasana (Child Pose)

Keeping your toes together kneel on the floor and sit on your heels. Keep your knees hip distant apart. Now exhale and bend forward until your torso is lying between your thighs. With palm facing the ceiling, place your hands beside your hips. Remain in this pose for a few minutes while breathing deeply. Inhale deeply while lifting your body up.

Bitiliasana (Cow Pose)

Kneel down and place your palms on the floor. Make sure your knees are hip distant apart and your palms are shoulder width apart. Keep your head in a neutral position and your gaze on the floor. Inhale deeply while allowing your chest to rise upwards and let your belly sink. Lift your head as well to look straight ahead. Then exhale deeply and let your chest and head regain their neutral position. Repeat this pattern 10 to 20 times.

Viparita Karani Asana (Legs-up-the-wall Pose)

Lay down on your back with your legs resting straight against a wall and your feet facing the ceiling. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides with palms facing upwards. Breathe deeply and remain in this position for a few minutes.

Shavasana (Corpse Pose)

Shavasana is probably the simplest pose to perform, but one of the hardest to contemplate. Simply lie down on your back, keeping your feet slightly apart and hands at sides with palms facing ceiling. Start breathing deeply and try to attain a thoughtless state. Do Shavasana at least for 5 minutes.
